How websites work_
To have your own website, you really only need 3 things:
- A domain name, which is the address of your website (for example joop.no)
- A web host, which is a server where your website files are stored
- A website, which consists of the files on the server that make your website
Pricing_
Hosting your website on our server costs 75kr per month, or 750kr per year. This includes one email account and technical support. There is no fine print, you can cancel at any time.
We can help you purchase a domain name, which typically costs 120kr per year for a .no domain name, but it can vary. For 500kr we will set up a CMS website for you, and it's free if you choose the yearly hosting plan.
A CMS website means that it's a website that you can easily manage yourself, without any required programming knowledge. This way you won't be dependent on us to make changes to your website. You can choose a CMS, but we recommend Wordpress.

We can discuss the price if you would like a more custom made website, as this will depend on the kind of website you want. But keep in mind that custom made websites are more expensive than CMS websites.
